What This Tool Checks

1

Image Dimensions

Each platform has minimum pixel requirements. Uber Eats needs 1920x1080, DoorDash needs 1200x800. Photos below these get rejected.

2

File Size

Platforms cap file sizes from 5MB to 10MB. Photos that exceed the limit won't upload, even if everything else is correct.

3

Aspect Ratio

Uber Eats uses 16:9, DoorDash uses 3:2, Grubhub uses 4:3, Skip the Dishes uses 1:1. Wrong ratio means auto-cropping or rejection.

4

File Format

Most platforms accept JPG and PNG. HEIC (iPhone default) and WEBP often get rejected. Convert before uploading.

What If Your Photo Fails?

Don't reshoot. MenuCapture can fix most issues automatically:

Too Small

AI upscaling can increase resolution while maintaining quality. Turn 800x600 into 1920x1080.

Wrong Ratio

AI can extend backgrounds to change aspect ratio without cropping your food out of frame.

Too Dark

AI brightening corrects exposure while preserving natural colors. No washed-out look.

Common Questions

Is this tool accurate?

This tool checks the technical requirements that platforms publish. It checks dimensions, file size, aspect ratio, and format. It cannot check subjective quality factors like lighting, focus, or composition that might also cause rejections.

My photo passed but still got rejected. Why?

Platforms also reject photos for quality issues: blurry images, poor lighting, inappropriate backgrounds, visible text/watermarks, or content that doesn't show food clearly. Meeting technical specs is necessary but not sufficient.

What's the best size that works for ALL platforms?

Shoot at 1920x1080 or higher. This exceeds minimums for every platform. You'll still need to crop for different aspect ratios, but you'll have enough pixels to work with.

Do you store my photos?

No. This tool runs entirely in your browser. Your photo never leaves your device. We don't upload, store, or process your images on any server.
